  • This course is the second half of a two-year sequence in World History.  The course is designed to examine history from the 1750's to the current time.

  • The Special Class Basic Global History & Geography II course is a detailed basic continuation of the Global History & Geography I curriculum. It is organized around the New York State Social Studies Standards of the State Department of Education. It is presented in chronological fashion beginning in 1750 C.E. and continuing up to present day. Students will concentrate on the economic, political, religious and philosophical tensions that wrote the remainder of our world’s history and created triumphs, crises, and challenges that the world faces today.

  • This course is a study of the culture, history and geography of Asia, Africa, Middle East, Latin America, and Europe up to 1750.
