Family and Consumer Science

  • A hands on cooking class that explores the regional foods of the United States. The second half of the year is devoted to foods from around the world
  • An online course for Interior Design through the Family and Consumer Science Department.  Is 1/2 art credit for NYS credit. 
  • the continuation of basic foods. 

  • Basic andAdvanced Foods teaches students the basic cooking skills.

  • A basic food class for the student who is new to cooking.

  • This course gives the student the ability to create clothing or fiber creations using different methods.  We will be utilizing the sewing machine, serger, embroidery machine, along with hand stitching.

  • Basic/Advanced foods is for the student who want to pursue culinary with the possibility of a career in the field or someone who wants to learn more about the food world
